Cool link found when I was catching up on the Freakonomics blog today:
InnocentiveThe basic idea of Innocentive is that corporations can list problems they want solved on the website, with a reward value for solving it. If you're the person who figures out the solution, you get money. Their challenges include everything from viral marketing ideas for a website, to a solar wireless router design for the Rockefeller foundation.
Given recent politics, they also posted several things on prostitution. The authors of freakonomics are really fascinated in general by the economics of drug dealing and the oldest profession. They did an interesting piece on technology in prostitution, including escort services which allow you to "friend" escorts online, or give customer ratings of the various escorts you've tried on their site.
